πŸ₯§ Pie Bakery πŸ₯§

When the class is quiet, the pies bake golden brown one by one: pumpkin, apple, pecan and more. When it gets too loud, the oven stops, and if it stays loud, the crusts start to burn!

Class goal: Bake all nine pies before the lesson ends!

How Pie Bakery works

1. Preheat the oven

Choose a lesson length, press Start Baking, and allow the microphone. The monitor listens for a moment to learn how your room sounds when it is calm.

2. Quiet bakes the pies

While the class is quiet, nine pies go from raw dough to golden brown one by one: pumpkin, apple, pecan, cherry and more, each one steaming when it is ready.

3. Noise burns the crusts

Too much noise rattles the kitchen and stops the oven. If it stays loud, smoke curls out and the crusts start to burn, but a baked pie is never lost and the scorch fades once the room is calm. Tip: let the class vote on which pie they hope comes out next.

Pie Bakery questions

Is Pie Bakery free to use?

expand_more

Pie Bakery is a Pro theme. Lifetime Pro is a one-time $20 payment that unlocks every theme, unlimited session time, and priority support. You can try the monitor for free first with the Quiet Jungle, Dino Valley, Hush Safari, Traffic Lights, Focus Mode, and Bouncy Balls themes.

Can the class lose progress in Pie Bakery?

expand_more

No: a baked pie stays baked. Noise only stops the oven and scorches the crusts for a while, and the scorch fades once the room settles, so the class can always finish the batch.

What age group is Pie Bakery best for?

expand_more

Pie Bakery works from preschool to about grade 5. Watching pies turn golden is calm and satisfying, and the smoke gives a clear warning that the room is getting too loud.

The Pie Bakery scene isn't reacting to sound. What should I check?

Your computer is probably listening to the wrong microphone. Interactive whiteboards often take over as the default mic when they're connected. During a session, open the settings (the tune icon in the top right) and pick your computer's built-in microphone. The choice is remembered for future sessions.
