πŸŽƒ Pumpkin Patch πŸŽƒ

When the class is quiet, the pumpkins grow fat on the vine, get carved into silly faces and light their candles. When it gets too loud, the autumn wind blows the candles out and the carving stops!

Class goal: Light up all nine jack-o'-lanterns before the lesson ends!

How Pumpkin Patch works

1. Plant the patch

Choose a lesson length, press Light the Patch, and allow the microphone. The monitor listens for a moment to learn how your room sounds when it is calm.

2. Calm grows the pumpkins

While the class is quiet, nine pumpkins swell on the vine, get carved into silly faces one by one, and light up with a warm candle glow across the dusky field.

3. Noise blows the candles out

Too much noise sends an autumn wind through the patch: leaves fly, the flames flicker and go out, and the carving stops. Grown pumpkins are never lost, so the class can always relight the patch. Tip: count the lit lanterns at the end of each lesson and chart them through October.

Pumpkin Patch questions

Is Pumpkin Patch free to use?

expand_more

Pumpkin Patch is a Pro theme. Lifetime Pro is a one-time $20 payment that unlocks every theme, unlimited session time, and priority support. You can try the monitor for free first with the Quiet Jungle, Dino Valley, Traffic Lights, Focus Mode, and Bouncy Balls themes.

Can the class lose progress in Pumpkin Patch?

expand_more

No: a pumpkin that has grown stays grown. Noise only blows the candles out and pauses the carving until the room settles, so the class can always relight the patch.

What age group is Pumpkin Patch best for?

expand_more

Pumpkin Patch works from preschool to about grade 5. The faces are silly rather than scary, and because it is named for the season, it fits schools that do not celebrate Halloween.

The Pumpkin Patch scene isn't reacting to sound. What should I check?

Your computer is probably listening to the wrong microphone. Interactive whiteboards often take over as the default mic when they're connected. During a session, open the settings (the tune icon in the top right) and pick your computer's built-in microphone. The choice is remembered for future sessions.
